Jonathan Fry, who has owned oven valeting firm Ovenu Bolton since 2002, has taken on a sub-contractor to cope with increased demand, with the long-term aim of taking on even more staff and investing in a fleet of vehicles, within the next 18 months.
The firm, which recently celebrated reaching 500 customer testimonials, averages more than 600 oven valets per year, with 70% of jobs coming from existing customers and recommendations. Following the appointment of Craig Harris, Jonathan now expects this number to rise to more than 1,000.
Jonathan said: “I have enjoyed a very successful 14 years in business and I’m now in a position to expand and grow the firm even more. I am delighted that Craig is on board and his determination and enthusiasm will serve the firm well during this period of growth.
“Within the next 12 to 18 months I will be looking to invest in my workforce and get a few more vehicles out on the road, which will hopefully allow us to double the amount of jobs we carry out. It’s all starting to come together and with the infrastructure in place, in time, I will be able to take up more of a managerial role.”
Ovenu Bolton provides its environmentally-friendly service to homes and businesses in Bolton including Heaton, Lostock, Westhoughton, Horwich, Smithills, Bromley Cross, Edgworth, Egerton, Sharples, Bradshaw, Harwood and Ainsworth, as well as all surrounding areas.
Rik Hellewell, Managing Director and Founder of Ovenu, said: “Jonathan is a longstanding Ovenu businessman and it is fantastic to see him now in a position to grow his business with the hiring of Craig. It is an exciting time for Ovenu Bolton, with plenty of positivity ahead, and I would like to wish Jonathan all the very best going forward.”
Ovenu is a franchise network made up of more than 90 businesses owned by men and women working throughout the UK.
The Ovenu valeting process involves dismantling key components of an oven such as the door, interior panels, fan and shelves and placing them into design-registered tank equipment, which uses safe, non-caustic products to clean the oven parts. The whole process takes around three to four hours and leaves the oven, hob and exterior in immaculate condition.
