Mike became a UK Websaver in April 2008 and joined in the celebrations by becoming their 100th franchisee! Securing his home towns of Egham, Staines and Ashford, we asked Mike what it was he liked so much about UK Websaver.
‘I’d looked at other opportunities and they didn’t match up to the criteria I needed in a new business. I knew I wanted to work with people again, I had been running a recruitment business had become so ‘faceless’, I wanted to get back to dealing with people again.
I run a charity called Midas Plus that works with all sorts of local charities, I wanted my new business to benefit my work there too, and of course I needed to make a living too. After 2 long years of searching, I stumbled across an opportunity that gave me all of those things!’
Mike set himself some fairly aggressive targets for his first 4 weeks. He went on to smash these and even excelled them by £1000!
