UK master franchisor Ken Deary is delighted to welcome on board Richard and Tracey Turner, who previously worked in the financial services sector.
Confirmation of the new franchise comes as Right at Home UK moves its head office into a new purpose-built premises in Preston, Lancashire.
Right at Home UK began delivering high-quality home care services across the Preston area in January 2010 – it has now expanded to open a further six UK offices, each creating up to 50 jobs for the local area.
UK master franchisor Ken Deary said: “We are very excited about moving into our new UK Head Office premises, which have been purpose-built for us and offer the top class facilities we need. The increased office space, meeting and conference facilities will allow us to continue to build our network of franchise offices across the UK.”
The company, which now has more than 250 offices worldwide, looks specifically for carers who pride themselves on going the extra mile for their clientele of elderly and vulnerable adults; enabling them to live as independent a lifestyle as possible and keeping dignity and respect as its core values.
And with offices now open in Preston, East Lancashire, Chorley & West Lancs, Sutton and Epsom, Wimbledon and Putney and Reading, entrepreneurs wanting to make a positive difference to their communities have been quick to share this vision.
Franchisee Julie Foote has had a very successful first quarter at Right at Home (Blackburn and East Lancs) and Mark Booker, who until recently worked for the North West Development Agency, has also just begun trading as Right at Home (Chorley and West Lancs), based in Leyland.
Ken Deary is confident of hitting his target of opening a further seven new offices in 2012.
He said: “Some parts of the care sector have received some very bad press in recent months, as the failings within social services have been highlighted to the Government by the Dilnot report.
“This is exactly the reason I started Right at Home UK – to fill the void left by substandard care providers and fill our clients with confidence that their individual needs will be met swiftly and reacted to with flexibility.
“With demographics moving towards living longer, our senior population is becoming more discerning about the quality of care and choice of support they require to continue living safely in their own home.
“The model of care we provide has been tried and tested across the US, where customer care is at the fore of all service provision, and in the UK it has been welcomed by our clients and other healthcare professionals.”
