Following CQC registration, Heritage Healthcare Barnet are up, running and ready to care for the community in Barnet and the surrounding area.
Anthonia Ugwumba, owner of Heritage Healthcare Barnet, will also be Registered Care Manager. An experienced professional within Social Care, Anthonia has dedicated the last 17 years to working with vulnerable people, particularly the elderly and people with learning difficulties or mental health problems.
Qualified to a high level, Anthonia has a degree in Health & Social Care, an NVQ Level 3 in Promoting Independence, a CMI certificate in First Line Management at Levels 2 and 3 and a Diploma in Social Care & Supported Housing Management.
Anthonia and her handpicked team of professional carers will assist people in their own homes with practical and personal tasks. This may be for a short while, after an accident or an illness, or it might be long term due to age, disability or other health problems.
Heritage Healthcare Barnet will also be providing a round the clock live-in care service, which will enable people to remain independent for as long as possible in the comfort and familiarity of their own home. Live-in care is an alternative to a residential or nursing home where carers live with clients and provide one-to-one assistance to offer freedom, choice and control to do what they want, when they want.
It will also offer Supported Living services to people with physical disabilities or learning difficulties. This includes helping people go to work, attend a day care centre, participate in leisure activities or visit the shops.
Anthonia said: “At Heritage Healthcare Barnet we are motivated to provide the highest quality of expert care to our clients to enable them live independently in their own home. We are proud to provide a reliable and responsive care service with a person centred approach full of empathy, respect and dignity.”
The care office based in Finchley will also be creating new up to 20 jobs within the next 12 months. The Home Care Assistant positions will be available to passionate and dedicated carers wanting to work in their local community across Barnet, Finchley, Borehamwood, Potters Bar, Shenley, Radlett, Ridge and Elstree.
Heritage Healthcare Director, Michelle Fenwick QFP said, “Anthonia is qualified to an exceptionally high level and has outstanding levels of experience within the care sector. I’m really excited to continue working with Anthonia in reaching her full potential. I know that Anthonia and her hand-picked team of carers will drive Heritage Healthcare Barnet to be extremely successful.”
“Anthonia is our 5th franchisee to be up and running, with another three currently awaiting CQC registration. The Heritage Healthcare network is continuing to grow and we’re really pleased that our franchisees have the same confidence in our business model that we do. We’re incredibly proud of all of our franchisees and the success that they have achieved so far.”
