A busy day followed, meeting people looking for work in the Hull and East Riding area and the Job Centre’s Rabecca Hunt felt it was a very successful initiative.
Also in attendance was the Rt. Hon Alan Johnson, MP for Hull West and Hessle, who spoke very supportively of Caremark (East Riding) and all they are working to achieve in their local community.
Commenting on the day to Alan Johnson, Caremark’s MD Graham Precious, said “Days like these are vital to our growth and it’s great to see the Guild Hall Facility being used by the Job Centre Plus team free of charge, allowing people to see all the opportunities that are actually available”.
“Sometimes when people are on benefits they can quickly lose confidence and get stuck in the system and they don’t realise that there are job vacancies out there. They also maybe need to consider a different career path using their transferable skills” he concluded.
All in all Caremark (East Riding) had a successful day with lots of interest from many candidates, whom Caremark will be contacting in the next few days for interviews and profiling.
