Headed up by sisters and co-owners Alison Hedley and Susan Westbury, the business will be offering a broad range of home care and support services which will enable their customers to remain living independently in their own homes, whilst providing them with the flexibility to have the care they need, when they need it and as they would like it.
The company is locally and independently owned but backed by an experienced and reputable home care franchisor, Caremark Ltd.
Commenting on the vision they have for the business, Director Alison Hedley said “Our aim is to make a difference to people’s lives by enabling them to remain independent in their homes for longer.
"We also aim to build a reputation for giving the customer choice and control over the care provided to them, thus offering the same high standards that you would wish for a member of your own family. In order to do this, we see our care workers as our most valuable asset and want to provide a welcoming and supportive working environment for them as they do such an important job. We feel by providing comprehensive training, field support and good career development opportunities, we will become an employer of choice for the very best care staff.”
Caremark (Lancaster & South Lakeland) will initially be providing care and support to older people but have future plans to move into the provision of care services for young people and children, having significant professional experience in this area.
The company is currently busy building links with related agencies in the area – Age UK, the Alzheimer’s Society, Parkinson’s UK as well as within their community health services.
The company are keen to hear from individuals who would be interested in a rewarding career in this sector.
