These educational seminars have been running for over ten years and they are now spreading further across the UK as NatWest take over the sponsorship of the events. These seminars will continue to help educate people looking to invest in a franchise business and, this year, they will be taking place in a wider range of locations to allow more and more people the opportunity to benefit from free advice and guidance on how to choose the right franchise for them.
The NatWest/bfa survey 2012 found that the proportion of franchise owners reporting profitability was 90%. This compares with recent statistics of 80% of standalone businesses failing in their first three years. Choosing the right franchise is a daunting task for many with over 900 franchised businesses to choose from. So, identifying the right franchise business model is an important decision that should not be taken lightly. The NatWest Franchise Seminars are designed to shed light in the jungle and provide impartial guidance and advice to help make the right decision.
These free educational evening seminars offer attendees a complete introduction to the franchise industry, providing them with the tools they need to choose the right business opportunity to invest in. Attendees also have the opportunity to get one-to-one advice from franchisors and representatives from NatWest.
Here a little taster of what attendees of the last programme of seminars had to say:
“If you’re thinking of investing in a franchise business, this seminar is a must. Meet and talk to the experts in one evening,” Joan Coe.
“A well-presented seminar with lots of valuable information put across. The content of the seminar was professionally structured and offered in-depth knowledge of choosing a franchise,” Ola Raheem.
“The franchise seminar was very useful. As a potential franchisee it has allowed me to think carefully about what exactly I am trying to achieve,” Camiel Delafaille.
“Attending the seminar today has increased my interest in researching for the right and suitable franchise to suit my lifestyle,” Comfort Bassey.
