Brian Duckett, Chairman of The Franchising Centre, who organise the event, explained “As an observer of relationships between franchisors and franchisees for over 30 years, it still surprises me how two groups of people with common objectives in the same organisation seem to spend so much time operating with different agendas. But then that’s human behaviour and as someone once said, “Without people business would be simple!”.”
“However, this doesn’t mean that we have to let nature take its course. There are many ways we can affect the franchisor / franchisee relationship to get the most out of it to everybody’s mutual benefit, and that is what this event is all about. We will be presenting a number of guest speakers who have different approaches to this issue and will provide a wealth of ideas and information that all franchisors will find interesting and helpful. This isn’t old school franchise management , but new ideas on getting your franchisees engaged, aligned and all pulling in the same direction with you.”
Other highlights of the day will include an address by Pip Wilkins, CEO of the British Franchise Association about its thinking on franchisee engagement and of course, the usual supplier exhibition which will enable you to meet a wide array of specialist franchise suppliers all under one roof.
You can book your places for this action packed day, which qualifies for 150 BFA QFP points, by contacting The Franchising Centre on 01904 561598. Tickets are just £69 plus VAT and The Franchising Centre will be making its usual donation to charity from the proceeds.
