Director of training Paul Monaghan said “Speaking to franchisors, I often hear comments like ‘I’ve been in franchising a long time and I don’t think I’ve got much more to learn’, or ‘Training is good at teaching the theory, but I don’t think I’d learn anything practical that I could put to use in my business’. So, for the past year we have been questioning franchisors that have attended our training workshops about these specific issues and they tell a very different story.”
Here is what people attending The Franchise Training Centre’s workshops last year actually think:
95% of delegates scored A or B for the various aspects of the venue.
99% of delegates scored A or B for the trainer.
85% of delegates said the content was Extremely or Very relevant to their needs, 92% of delegates said the content was Extremely or Very in line with expectations 80% Of delegates said the content was Extremely or Very challenging to thinking, 92% of delegates said the content was Extremely or Very interesting.
91% of delegates said the content was Extremely or Very what they came to learn, 92% of delegates said they were Extremely or Very confident to use what they had learned back at work.
Monaghan commented “We have always aimed at providing training workshops that are primarily designed to give delegates the practical knowledge and tools to take back to the office and implement in their businesses. We’re delighted that the results of our survey reflect this, we continually strive to deliver new subject matter to franchisors and have just added two more new workshops to our line-up for 2016.”
“There is nothing more pleasing than seeing a ‘training sceptic’ enjoying a workshop and enthusing about their experience. I would challenge all training sceptics out there to join us for a day and become one of the converted!”
