Stefan Wissenbach, an international speaker on the subject of engagement, really drove home the message about the positive effects for a franchisor of engaging effectively with their franchisees. More importantly, he then went on to introduce the audience to a low cost digital platform for effective franchisee engagement and provide some free tools for starting the process.
Graham Jones, an internet psychologist, alarmed the gathering by explaining why the power of the brand is rapidly losing ground to the importance of the customer experience when it comes to buying decisions. “Adapt or Die” was the theme of the day and this presentation really hit home. The audience was also treated to the “25 Secrets of Using Linkedin Profitably”. This is an internal Linkedin document that Berkeley Harris of Sandler Training had permission to present after his Company’s recent work with Linkedin.
Chairman of The Franchising Centre, Brian Duckett, summed the day up by saying: “It’s a pleasure to put on an event where we get such good feedback from the franchisors attending. Between the attending the formal sessions, meeting with suppliers and networking with fellow franchisors it is a busy and very productive day for the delegates and we look forward to doing it all again next year!”
