Iain has been in franchising for almost 20 years with extensive experience across many areas and has provided consultancy,franchisee and executive recruitment services to a broad range of franchisors. He specialises in master franchise recruitment and has a track record of helping franchisors break into new international markets by appointing master franchisees.
|David Williams QFP – Director of Franchising, RBS England & Wales and NatWest Scotland
David has a wide range of experience within the Business & Commercial Banking sector
and has been involved in Franchising with RBS since 1995. He currently works within part of RBS Group which will be sold to Santander in due course and his role is to keep the Bank up to date with changes to specific franchises and to develop franchise business for RBS.
David is a regular speaker at various seminars for prospective franchisees,franchisors and the BFA and is a BFA Qualified Franchise Professional.
|Iain Bowler – Iain Bowler, DLA Piper
Iain qualified as a solicitor in 1988 and specialised in corporate merger and acquisition, stock exchange and complex commercial and joint venture work.
Between 1998 and 2001 Iain was Director of Corporate Finance of a corporate industrial developer with offices in Halifax and Atlanta,responsible for the commercial and financial evaluation of acquisition opportunities,transaction structuring and
negotiation and the performance of detailed commercial and financial due diligence.
Iain is a member of the International Commercial Contracts & Distribution Group core management team and is Head of Franchising for the EMEA Region.
