The strategic business leader, run by dynamic and respected entrepreneur Suzie McCafferty, has become a supporting sponsor of Scottish Franchise Week 2012, which will stage a series of significant events for the franchising sector between April 30 to May 4.
The showcase for the industry, organised by the British Franchise Association, will highlight its commercial impact on the Scottish economy, with nearly 500 franchise brands and more than 2000 individual franchisee businesses.
But it will also highlight its enormous potential, with its campaign for ethical franchising adopting the stated aim of securing 1000 new franchised unit businesses in the country by 2017.
Suzie McCafferty said: "Platinum Wave is particularly proud to be tangibly supporting an initiative which has such real, practical potential. Franchising is a proven route not only for entrepreneurs but also for a regenerating economy such as Scotland's."
Ms McCafferty has built an impeccable reputation within the franchising sector by running several successful businesses. For 12 years, she developed her own major franchise brands throughout the UK, Eire, Spain, Portugal, Dominican Republic, and Kuwait before moving into the business of advising others.
Platinum Wave now has a substantial client portfolio of UK-based entrepreneurs across a range of organisations of all sizes and sectors, providing them with strategic and hands-on support on how to grow their brands both within the UK and internationally via franchising.
She said: "Platinum Wave have created a niche and trusted service, whereby we are passing on our own validated experiences of franchising to our clients.”
"And, because we have such strong experience of operating in an international arena, we are ideally placed to advise businesses at all levels on how they can compete on a global playing field, which is where growth will come from for Scottish businesses over the next few years."
Platinum Wave's support for Scottish Franchise Week will augment sponsorship by Lloyds TSB Commercial and Whichfranchise.com and help celebrate another successful year for franchising in Scotland, which is one of the most vibrant franchise markets in the UK.
