Fit4Less by énergie in Stevenage will enable students studying health and fitness courses to learn in a real world environment. Once qualified, students will also have the opportunity to utilise facilities at the gym and start their own personal training, sports therapy, sports massage or beauty treatment businesses.

Fit4less by énergie in Stevenage opened in December with an official launch planned for January 2012. The club opening marks the 16th Fit4less in the énergie portfolio.

Fit4less, Stevenage features state-of-the-art Precor equipment and includes a fully air-conditioned cardio theatre and free weights area, plus modern changing facilities. Personal training and fitness classes are also available as an extra cost. Staff at the College and students are offered monthly membership for just £10.99 per month when signing up for a 12 month contract. Members of the public can also use the facilities for £14.99 per month on a 12 month contract or £19.99 a month on a rolling contract.

James added: “The commercial venture has presented us with a fantastic opportunity to link with the local community. In addition, we’re giving customers state of the art equipment and facilities for a fraction of the traditional cost of going to a gym. The response to us opening has been incredible.”

Earlier this year, the énergie Group announced plans to open 45 Fit4less clubs by the end of 2012.
