Énergie Opens First Gym In Wales

The énergie Group has further penetrated the UK market with the opening of its first Welsh gym.
Fit4less by énergie in Port Talbot opened last week with attendance from ex Welsh International footballer, John Hartson and Welsh middleweight and light heavyweight champion Nicky Piper. The club opening marks the 15th Fit4less in the énergie estate.
Fit4less, Port Talbot occupies 17,000sqft and features state-of-the-art Precor equipment, including a fully air-conditioned cardio theatre and free weights area, plus clean and modern changing facilities. Personal training and fitness classes are also available as an extra cost for those who desire it.
Co-owner and general manager, James Taylor believes Fit4less has everything to make it a brand champion in Wales, he said: “You cannot argue with the price proposition and high quality of product Fit4less has to offer. We’re giving customers state of the art equipment and facilities for a fraction of the traditional cost of going to a gym.
“The response to us opening has been incredible. The online joining process is seamless and allowed us to put resources into marketing and promotions to raise our awareness. We are extremely grateful to John and Nicky for coming down to show their support for us.”
Earlier this year, the énergie Group announced plans to open 45 Fit4less clubs by the end of 2012.
