Anytime Fitness opens UK headquarters

On August 1st Anytime Fitness Franchise opened their UK headquarters with views overlooking the River Gade at the Riverside Shopping Centre in Hemel Hempstead
The world’s fastest growing fitness club franchise, Anytime Fitness, has opened its new UK headquarters. With views overlooking the River Gade at the Riverside Shopping Centre in Hemel Hempstead, the Anytime Fitness UK Headquarters boasts a flagship gym as well as offices, and opened for business on 1st August.
The first floor, 4,700sq ft gym is the first site in the UK to showcase the new Anytime Fitness design package, featuring an entrance lobby, motivational and fresh colour scheme and private bathroom facilities. There is 24-hour access and an affordable annual contract, at just £32.95 per month.
The gym will be fitted out with Precor equipment, showcasing the new Experience Series strength and cardiovascular ranges with the latest touch screen technology of the P80 consoles. Fitness areas will be sectioned into strength, cardio, free weights and functional training zones.
Andy Thompson, Managing Director at Anytime Fitness UK said: “The opening of the UK headquarters and flagship gym provides us with a site that we can showcase to potential franchisees, enabling the brand to continue to grow within the UK. Equipped with the Precor Experience Series featuring innovative P80 technology, the site provides a high quality, affordable and accessible club that is much needed in the area.”
He continues: “Our first franchised club in Bristol now has over 1500 members with further growth anticipated before the end of its first year. A further six club openings are planned for the next 6-12 months. Membership at the Hemel Hempstead site has a capacity of around 1,200 and already over 500 people have benefitted from our great value pre-opening memberships offers.”
