We aim to be completely transparent about the investment costs and fees involved in establishing and running a TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise. We believe that your initial set-up cost should be invested in establishing your new business. As a British Franchise Association (bfa) accredited franchise opportunity, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® does not profit directly from this initial investment.
Where does your money go?
Most of your initial investment will be directed towards your fleet and staff. The ‘Franchise Fee’ is just a small part of this investment, but what does the franchise fee do for you?
The franchise fee includes your First Gear 12-week induction course, the instructor-led Stick Men University programme, in-person marketing and operational support, online training manuals and continuing professional development training meetings and resources.
Your fee also includes all your team management charts and plans, financial management documents and operational support materials. You’ll also receive sales management training and collateral, local marketing management tools and documentation – plus IT software, training and tools to help you manage customer service.
Behind all this is our committed and dedicated head office support team of trainers, mentors and coaches – who will assist you at every stage of setting up and operating your new business.
How do TWO MEN AND A TRUCK profit?
Our financial reward is directly linked to the success of your business — we share the risk and reward with you. So once you’ve paid the initial investment to establish your business, all you will have to pay is the Royalty Fee, which is our return on our investment in you; a contribution to the National Advertising Budget, which benefits the whole network and helps to keeps you and the rest of the network ahead of the competition; there is also an ongoing investment into the development of our IT systems which again help us to stand apart from our competition and assist you in running a successful business.
In the context of what you’ll receive as part of the core TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® franchise package as detailed above, there will also be operating expenses that you should also budget for, such as fuel and staff costs which vary with each franchise owner. In total, the average required investment can be broken down as follows:
- Franchise fee is £30,000
