Franchise Manager Damian Slater agrees that the business has had a fantastic year so far. By bringing six new franchise owners into its dynamic UK network, the negotiating price has increased on major national accounts, which provides a substantial proportion of a franchise owner’s business as well as inducting a new Master Franchisee from the UAE.
Damian explains: “The franchise can suit any person from any background as long as they have a drive to succeed and basic customer skills. We have seen people from a variety of backgrounds join us over the years including ex-professional footballers, ex-hotelier’s and caterers, ex-train drivers and even accountants.”
Damian continues: “There has never been such demand in the UK for the FiltaFry Plus fryer management service, due to massive increases in cooking oil prices and the benefit of companies being able to eliminate health and safety risks connected to the filtering and cleaning of deep fat fryers in their commercial kitchens.” FiltaFry, part of the Filta Environmental Group, has also launched an Environmental Impact Report for any of its customers to use. This enables its large customer base to monitor the impact on oil usage and savings that using the FiltaFry service provides.
