Coffee Republic Announces Two Major Deals

July 8, 2008. Coffee Republic announced that agreements have been reached with CR Coffee Houses Limited (“CR Coffee Houses”) for the Master Franchise Agreement (“MFA”) for Northern Ireland and Eire; and with East Coast Traders Ltd (“East Coast Traders”) for the UK Regional Development Franchise (“RDF”) for the territory of East Anglia. The RDF covers Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire counties and the Unitary Authorities of Luton and Peterborough.

Cafe2U Celebrates!

January 30, 2008. Cafe2U proudly held its second National Seminar and Franchisee Awards earlier this month. The day was a celebration of the achievements of Cafe2U as a franchise system, like having 28 operating franchise partners and opening our first franchise in Belfast in September.

Coffee Republic Makes International Franchise Agreement for UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman

December 18, 2007. Coffee Republic announces that an agreement has been reached with fashion group powerhouse Paris Group for the Coffee Republic Deli franchise rights for UAE, Bahrain, Qatar and Oman. The agreement gives Paris Group the right to develop Coffee Republic delis and recruit franchisees to operate Coffee Republic delis in the above areas.

Coffee Republic Opens New Deli In Lakeside

November 22, 2007. Coffee Republic announces that its latest Deli has opened in the Lakeside shopping centre in Essex. The franchisees at Lakeside are Jon and Stephanie Shepherd who plan to open at least 3 Delis over the next six months within the South East. Jon and Stephanie are joined by James Donald, who will oversee operations.

October 23, 2007. Coffee Republic is pleased to announce acceptance of The Media Today Business Achievement Awards for Best Investment 2007. The awards are recognised throughout the business industry, known regionally as well as nationally.

October 20, 2007. Cafe2U has certainly had a fantastic year. “This pace has not stopped and this year has seen a great year of growth. We now have 25 franchised operations across the UK and the Channel Islands and only last month we launched our first franchisee in Northern Ireland,” said Tom Acland MD.

Coffee Republic Opens In Turkey

September 30, 2007. Coffee Republic announces that their first Deli bar has opened in Istanbul, Turkey. This is the second international Deli bar following the opening in Sunny Beach, Bulgaria in June and part of an ongoing international expansion. The Master Franchisee for Turkey is Mr. Hakan Tangulu of Ada Kahve Gida Sanayi ve Ticaret Ltd.

Regional Development Franchise for Oxfordshire Announced

August 24, 2007. Coffee Republic announces that an agreement has been reached with Coffox Limited (“Coffox”) for a Regional Development Franchise (“RDF”) for the territory of Oxfordshire and the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead. This follows a recent agreement with East Coast Traders Limited for the RDF for East Anglia.
