In the coveted ‘Best PR Campaign’ category, Premier Sport was up against three other leading franchisors and eventually secured top spot for capturing the imagination of the desired audience by offering 10,000 free places on their sports activities last summer. Premier Sport was also shortlisted in the 'Best Franchise Marketing Support' for their excellent training, management and support provided to new franchisees’ to aid their marketing activity.
Ben Thompson, Head of Communications at Premier Education Group commented: "We’re delighted to win Best PR Campaign at this year’s awards. The marketing team at Premier HQ worked extremely hard to make sure the campaign was a success on all levels. It’s important to remember why we created the campaign in the first place and that was to provide 10,000 free days of sport to thousands of children where cost may have previously formed a barrier to entry. We’re just pleased the promotion gained this level of national exposure.
It was also pleasing was being shortlisted for the Best Franchise Marketing Support category, as we’ve implemented additional support and training for new and established franchisees, a trend we plan to continue."
Over the past 11 years, the Franchise Marketing Awards have become one of the industry's most highly-coveted accolades. They are renowned for celebrating innovative marketing campaigns and effective marketing support offered by franchisors to their franchisees.
