That’s a lot of kids Premier Sport are getting active, so let us try and put that into perspective for you...
Did you tune into the closing ceremony of Glasgow’s commonwealth games? If so, you would’ve seen the baton magnificently handed onto Australia as they’ll host the 2018 games. Sydney Opera House is easily Australia’s most recognisable landmark — and it's most visited, with 7.3 million annual visits. So that means, we’re on course to attract more yearly visits than the Opera House... WOW! In actual fact, our 7+ million visits equates to more than the 6.8 million viewers that tuned in to watch BBC’s coverage of the closing ceremony!
“We’re clearly pleased with the latest figures, which mean more young people are accessing high quality sport and physical activity. The development of the Inspire programme has meant we’re now reaching out and appealing to more children of all abilities and levels. And with a significant increase in schools accessing our services, we’re confident that we will continue to impact on even more people as we head into the new school year,” comments Danny Melling, Operations Director Premier Sport.
With over 800 Activity Professionals working throughout the UK, Premier Sport, continues to provide schools, communities and young people with a high quality, reliable and sustainable service in a changing and evolving landscape.
