Within these revision days, Premier Sport has been asked to provide a vital rest bite for the pupils by delivering some sport and physical activity throughout the day whilst teacher’s are delivering additional classroom activities to prepare children for forthcoming exams.
Ormiston Herman Academy is the first school to open their gates with 29 children expected to attend the 2 days giving them the best possible preparation for their forthcoming exams.
Danny Boswell, our Physical Activity and Sports Co-ordinator in East Norfolk, said: “Through recent consultations with senior school staff we highlighted these exams as a real KPI for the school and having delivered successful holiday programmes before we felt there was no better way than combining revision and sport during this Easter programme for Year 6.
We’re always looking for additional ways to support our schools and pupils. During SATS exam season it’s important the pupils can let their hair down and get out of the classroom to play some sport or partake in some light physical activity. We’re delighted to provide our Activity Professionals to assist with this target group over the 2 days and would like to use this as an example to other schools in the area."
