She will be providing help and guidance for new franchisees as they lay the foundations of their Home Instead business providing quality at-home care to elderly people across the UK.
Helen has extensive experience in the franchise world, having worked in franchised businesses for most of her career. After starting work at McDonalds at the age of 16 she was promoted through the company, becoming first a store manager and subsequently a business manager working across the North West and UK mentoring other McDonalds managers and their teams.
She also has experience owning her own franchise, having run a business offering sales and management training for small and medium businesses for the past two years. Helen’s considerable experience and skill at managing people and providing training to develop and improve businesses will be invaluable to new Home Instead franchisees.
She said: “Working at Home Instead gives me the opportunity to mentor our enthusiastic new franchise owners and give them the guidance and support they need in order to grow their business. My own experience means that I know what is required to get the best out of a business, and I am looking forward to seeing new owners grow and develop.”
In her spare time Helen enjoys swimming and cycling and spending time with her husband and two young sons.
