We started the year as we meant to go on by moving into bigger and better offices! With business thriving in the UK, we were excited to win our first international contract with the Qatari Government delivering training to their Executive PAs and secretaries. Our global domination continued after winning new clients as far as Australia and the USA. SmartPA are also now in talks with the Middle East, RSA and USA to license products and services out with Europe.
This year has been especially exciting for SmartPA technology. We launched Smart Social, our social media management tool and have two other products launching soon. Firstly SmartPA E-Learning, our comprehensive online learning platform, which was met with high praise by industry professionals who trialled and reviewed it. Keep an eye out on our social media for the official release date! Secondly, the highly anticipated SmartPA Home with state-of-the-art CRM work flow system, E-Learning and Smart Social – tipped to revolutionise homeworking and help people get back to work.
SmartPA Franchise has also been going from strength-to-strength, now hailed as one of the UK’s fastest growing franchises – particularly within the female demographic aged 23 to 53. We also recently received BFA and Franchise Works accreditation and are in talks with other business recognition bodies.
As the first half of 2014 ended we, as a Scottish business, declared our support for the Better Together campaign. SmartPA hosted a press event with Alistair Darling to discuss the implications of the impending vote and how independence would affect Scottish businesses. Whilst Scottish and proud, we believe it is better for us and other businesses that we remain part of the UK.
We cannot believe how quick the last 6 months have flown by and we cannot wait to see what the rest of year holds for SmartPA. Watch this space!
