Another year passed and yet another hugely successful British and International Franchise Exhibition has been wrapped up at the Olympia, London. Running from the 13th to 14th March 2015, the British Franchise Association (bfa) accredited event saw brands from across the globe share their expertise and invaluable business insight with aspiring franchisees.
Visitors were encouraged to take part in the numerous free workshops and activities run throughout both days. This included a keynote speech from Edd Read, co-founder of international healthy food brand Graze. Edd gave attendees the chance to hear a truly inspirational and personal account of how to run a successful business. Proving the exhibition's successful international element, the aisles were teeming with potential franchisees from across the globe, with some travelling from as far as South Africa and the United States.
Adrian Goodsell, director of franchise sales at Venture Marketing Group said, “The British and International Franchise Exhibition has now cemented itself as London's leading international franchise event and will continue to showcase top brands and exceptional talent. We have an audience hungry for information and guidance, with a real aim in becoming yet another example of how the franchise business model really works.”
Creating the connection between brands and visitors from home and abroad is vital for both parties and as Carol Rawson, founder of Suit the City stated: “…the day has been fantastic, and we’ve had a number of good quality leads come through. We’ve just launched the brand into Europe, so this event is crucial in helping us expand. I’ve just spoken to a candidate that is interested in taking the company to Paris!”
The knock on success of the London event can already be seen with the keen interest in 2015’s British Franchise Exhibition, open from the 19th to 20th June at EventCity, Manchester. The British and International Franchise Exhibition will also return in 2016 running from 11th to 12th March.
