Green industries are innovative and popular. Environmental awareness used to be seen as “hippyish” but is now becoming more popular and politically correct. With new legislation being introduced regularly to protect the environment, the green industry is really growing. Now is a great time to consider an investment in a green franchise opportunity.
A UN report released in Sept. 08 stated that the key areas considered to have the most potential to make improvements for the environment are energy supply, energy efficiency, transport, basic industries (such as iron & steel, aluminium, cement, paper & pulp), recycling and agriculture & forestry.
