The biggest franchise exhibition of the year is approaching…have you put it in your diary?
Every year The UK Franchise Show is held in London and it's the biggest free franchising event in the country, with thousands of visitors dropping into the ExCel Centre to check out the top British and international franchises on display. "We had just under 8,000 delegates attend last year’s event," says Christian Yandell, one of the organisers. "Based on our current pre-registration numbers being up 14% compared to this time last year, we are hoping that this will be a record year for the show."
But it's not just stands that you'll see. There will also be over 60 free seminars and workshops to attend, where you can hear real stories from those who have already made the move into franchising. Speakers will include Matt Sidwell (business coach with the franchise Auditel, speaking at 11am both days) and Robert Allison (managing director with the business consultant franchise Expense Reduction Analysts).
Most importantly, we are going to be there too. The Franchise Direct UK sales team are planning to exhibit at the event for the fifth year running, and are very much looking forward to the networking opportunities that this will bring. The franchises on offer will be from a wide range of industries, including food and drink, cleaning, retail and business-to-business services. "We have the best franchise opportunities from right around the world covering a wide variety of industries," says Christian. "It would be almost impossible to say which are the most popular."
