About Abacus Care

Abacus Care is both a Nursing and Domiciliary Care Agency, which began trading in August of 1991, and is concerned with the provision of qualified nurses and health care assistants to both the public and private sectors.

Covering most of the U.K. Abacus Care’s services vary from supplying qualified nurses and health care assistants to care homes, hospitals, children’s homes and personal and domestic care to clients within their own homes, either on a private basis or under contract to Social Services. The types of agency staff employed varies from qualified registered general nurses, registered mental health nurses, health care assistants, support workers and homecare workers.

Abacus Care has been successfully franchising since 1994 and during this time we have shown that we can support franchisees to develop a large, successful and profitable business.

Abacus Care is a full member of the British Franchise Association, since 1994.

Each franchise territory area is based on an approximate population of one million and determined by postcode listings, with no more than one franchise office in each area limiting the possibility of unnecessary competition.
